College Project - Pixel Perfect Animation

For one of my College assignments, I was tasked to create an animation based around a game cut-scene based off of a brief from a client scenario. I decided to go for an idea based off of a pixel game I created called Pixel Perfect, which I also have an early Eevee render of.

This animation was created in Blender 3.1, the original animation spanning 2360 frames at 60fps, however I resulted to rendering only 1889 frames at 50fps due to time constraints. The original style I went for was as can be seen a more vibrant coloured voxel low poly styled world, despite there being a Mini Cooper that completely goes against the style.

The character I rigged myself, with basic Blendshapes/Visemes for eye movement, individual eyelid movement, pupil only and pupil blink. The model also has basic IK Rigging on the feet to control the legs. The car itself was rigged using an addon called RigaCar, which came in handy on such a short timeframe. Once the renders were finished it was compiled into Adobe Premiere Pro, which I added effects, title cards, audio and fade.

Overall I would of wished to of done better on the visual side as the world in my opinion is lacking, such as background scenery, proper clouds and flat terrain, however for assignment purposes it was overexpectation. Critique is welcome as I wish to improve!
